The short version: some links on Pawtrips earn us a small commission if you book through them. It costs you nothing extra, and it helps keep this platform free. We only recommend places we genuinely believe are great for pets and their people.
How Affiliate Links Work
When you click a link to an accommodation provider, booking platform, or product on Pawtrips, that link may contain a tracking code. If you make a booking or purchase after clicking that link, we may receive a small commission from the provider. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go directly to the provider.
Who We Work With
We are in the process of establishing affiliate partnerships with providers including Booking.com, Agoda, Commission Factory, and Amazon Australia. We will update this page as new partnerships are confirmed. Every provider we work with is one we would genuinely recommend to a friend travelling with their pet.
Our Promise to You
Affiliate commissions do not influence which properties or products we feature or how we rate them. Our Pawprint Rating system is based on genuine pet-friendliness, not on who pays us. We will always tell you when a link is an affiliate link. If we would not take Astro and Monti there, we will not recommend it.
Australian Consumer Law
This disclosure is made in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) Code of Ethics, which require that commercial relationships be clearly disclosed. We take this obligation seriously and are committed to full transparency with our community.
Our Pledge
We will be as honest as we possibly can. We work hard to find places that genuinely align with our values -- but we are human, and we will not get it right every time. When we fall short, we want to hear about it. Reach out at hello@pawtrips.com.au and we will make it right.
